Flumes Is Accepting Submissions for Our Summer 2018 Issue

An online literary journal based in the Yuba-Sutter counties, Flumes publishes poetry, fiction and nonfiction for adults and young adults, as well as scripts, visual art and photography. We’re currently accepting submissions for our Summer 2018 issue (due out May 2018). 

To review previous issues, visit Flumes on the Joomag Newsstand. In addition to a range of literary and visual pieces by new, emerging and established artists and writers, Flumes Winter 2017 featured a script by Simon Bowler, titled “The Briefing,” which was also chosen for the William Inge Festival. Cover artist, Korean born American photographer, Ray Im captures the moment with his haunting photo, “Glass Ceiling.” The Summer 2017 issue featured interviews with award-winning novelist, Dorothy Allison, and up-and-coming poet, Jassi K. Bassi.
