Flumes: Channeling Creative Brilliance
Flumes, a bi-annual, online literary journal, is currently accepting submissions. Our Summer Ekphrastic Challenge winners have been selected, and we’re now calling for original submissions for our Winter 2017 publication. Open categories for this issue include: fiction, creative non-fiction, scripts, poetry, and children’s and young adult literature, as well as visual art and photography.
To familiarize yourself with Flumes, please visit on the Joomag News Stand, where you can find all of our previous issues.
We’re particularly proud of our Summer 2017 issue, which featured interviews with up-and-coming poet, Jassi K. Bassi, as well as well-known author and LGBTQIA activist, Dorothy Allison.
The literary and visuals pieces in each issue were selected for their ability to provoke thought and emotional response, as well multiple interpretations. We’re delighted that our growing contributors list includes new, emerging, and award-winning writers and artists. We hope your work will be next!
Our submission deadline is coming up quick: you have until October 6, 2017. To peruse the category guidelines or submit work, visit: lehab.submittable.com.
